Floating Pavilion Workshop

VIT, Vertical workshop,2016 was organised by Ar. Jaffer AA Khan. The workshop focused on making miniature models of floating pavilions designed in two days time. Moat of the Vellore fort was divided into equal parts and given to a group of 5.

The design approach was to build a permeable structure that coexists with the language of the Vellore fort moat. The Pavilion was designed as a memorial for the Vellore mutiny, 1806 against the East India company.
